Crushed natural stone aggregate bonded with cement, cast in our own moulds and finished entirely by hand — the depth of carved limestone with far more freedom of profile.
Because cast stone is cast rather than cut from a quarried slab, virtually any profile is possible — from clean modern linear surrounds to deeply carved traditional pieces. We have been making it in our own Greater Toronto Area workshop since 1998, and every piece that leaves the shop is designed, cast, hand-troweled, and installed by our own team.
The over-brick advantage is our specialty. If your home has a dated brick, stone, or concrete fireplace, our adjustable over-mantels are engineered to fit directly over the existing masonry — no demolition, no dumpster, no weeks of dust. In many cases we can even alter the height of the firebox opening so the finished proportions are exactly right.
